visitors continue to visit and drop food in. as weeks go by the food that visitors have been dropping in begins to rot. inside the sculpture is a long granite tube which goes through the floor of the museum into a massive granite holding chamber with no entrances or exits.
and when visitors come to the museum they can buy a piece of fruit or a leaf of lettuce or a dog treat for 5¢ like a petting zoo and they stand in line and they drop their piece of food in its mouth (they can pet the sculpture too but be gentle.). if i made sculpture that eats it would be a similar granite block but instead of lettuce tied to the front it would have a hole.
Sculpture that eats by giovanni anselmo sucks not because of the societal degradation wreaked by modern art or whatever haters say but because the sculpture doesnt eat enough.
